Contract colour: digital mock-up versus Heidelberg production sheet
A screen JPEG is not a press OK. Spot colours, foil, and holographic wrap will not match a social-media render. Ask for a printed sheet.
What we can match
A printed wrap sheet or carton from the same press family. Pantone on coated paper is a start. Holographic film will shift; say if that is acceptable.
What we will not promise
Delta-E numbers invented in an article. If the brand has a viewing booth standard, send it. Otherwise we OK on a daylight sheet.
Spot versus process
Brand red on a book box is often a spot. Process-only CMYK will drift lot to lot. Write it.
Catalog ranges only. Confirm on sample, board lot, and destination spec. Certificate numbers are not invented here — request current scans on the RFQ.
