FSC and other catalog marks — request the current scan

What the catalog shows — and what it is not

FSC, quality-system, high-tech enterprise, and printing-license credentials appear in the April 2026 catalog. They are marks on a manufacturer listing. This article will not type fake certificate numbers, fake licence serials, or a copied code from a brochure into a sentence that looks like a contract.

Wenzhou Taishan Printing Co., Ltd. (温州泰山印业有限公司) converts custom boxes at No. 187–239 Cendong Road, Longgang, Wenzhou, Zhejiang 325802. Founded in 2000, the plant prints and converts wrapping sheets and cartons. A catalog badge is still not the wording that belongs on a purchase order.

If a brand needs a claim on the carton or the gift wrap, write the claim and the market on the RFQ. Then ask for the current scan that supports that claim. Marks age. Scans for this lot beat a screenshot from last year’s PDF.

FSC is a chain-of-custody claim, not a logo file

A logo on a website is not chain of custody. CoC is a documented path for the board or paper you want claimed on this job. Mixed FSC and non-FSC board in one gift set is a planning problem: which piece carries the claim, which piece does not, and whether they share a shipper.

If the brand needs FSC on the carton, write the claim type you expect to print or to document — and name the destination. We manufacture to the RFQ. We do not invent a code to win the RFQ. Request the current FSC-related scan with the quote when the claim is required.

Quality system, high-tech, and printing license

Those catalog marks sit beside FSC on the same listing. They are still not contract numbers. A quality-system badge does not replace a colour approval. A high-tech enterprise mark does not replace a dieline. A printing license mark does not replace destination labelling that the artwork owner must supply.

Buyers who paste catalog certificate art into a contract are copying a picture. Ask for the current scan if the PO must cite a document. If the PO does not need that document, do not invent a number so the file looks thicker.

Put the claim on the PO, not only in an email thread

Claims that must appear on the pack or in the shipment file belong on the purchase order: wording, market, and which SKUs. An email that says “FSC if possible” is not a specification. “If possible” is how mixed board lots happen.

Artwork owns on-pack logos. If the wrap file already contains an FSC-style mark, that is still not proof that the board lot supports it. Structure, board, and claim have to be planned together before Heidelberg sheets are committed.

What changes between quote and production

Board lots, wrap lots, and certificate validity windows move. A scan attached to last year’s program is not automatically the scan for this year’s reprint. Ask again when the claim is still required.

We will not treat a portfolio photo of a pharma or food carton as a transferred licence. Domestic reference work in those categories is a structure and print reference. It is not a dump of numbers you can paste onto an export carton.

The catalog mentions coverage of multiple countries and regions. That is not a table of country sales figures, and this article will not invent one. Name the country that must read the pack.

What this article will not do

We will not invent FSC certificate numbers, quality-system codes, high-tech serials, or printing-license numbers. We will not invent HS headings as official customs advice. We will not invent import duty. Request current documents for the market you named.

Wenzhou Taishan Printing is the converter on Cendong Road. The honest path is: write the claim, request the scan, match the board plan, then print. A catalog mark without that path is decoration on a listing, not a finished compliance pack.
